Men’s Health has launched a digital collector’s edition of the magazine in conjunction with Movember. All sales from the sale of the digital magazine will go directly to the Movember charity, which helps raise funds and awareness for men’s health issues, specifically prostate cancer and male mental health.
Movember does tremendous work in listing awareness of these issues and raising money towards combating them,” says the magazine’s editor Ian Cockerill. And like Men’s Health, where we regularly address similar themes, their success lies in not being too serious about it.”
The Men’s Health Movember Special app offers a fresh and timely way to package up relevant content that both engages readers and highlights men’s health issues we strongly support,” says Cockerill.
The Movember app features tips on growing your best moustache, advice on combating depression, a 10-minute prostate health check, mood-lifting workouts and more.
A limited number of Movember sponsors were given the opportunity to advertise in the digital magazine for free, including Coles, Go Natural, Isuzu, Bread & Butter, Target and Uppercut.
The Men’s Health Movember Special app is available through the Apple Store for iPad for $1.99, with all profits going to Movember.
