This morning saw the bd team head to the Aquatics Centre at Sydney Olympic Park to witness the team get to work styling members of the men’s Australian Olympics water polo team.
Poolside following the team’s training, Schwarzkopf Professional international creative artist Scott Sloan turned the men’s hair from wet and ragged to sleek and slicked before they headed to a News Limited lunch.
Today they’ve got a lunch promoting the team heading over to London, so we just wanted them to look like themselves but smart at the same time,” says Sloan.
It’s been a really great experience because we’ve been partnered up with the 3D products. Why that’s a great partnership is because 3D is a total men’s range and has a wide variety of uses. When you come into a men’s water polo team, you’ve got guys with short hair, long hair, curly hair - and there’s a product for everything!”
Team captain Thomas Whalan adds, all the boys are getting made up, I think it’s a good thing for them! Schwarzkopf Professional have been great and come on board and given us a whole lot of product.”
The team flies to Europe tomorrow in preparation for the London Olympics.
