A first for L'Oréal Paris

In an exciting first for the brand, L'Oréal Paris has appointed Temi Otedola, a Nigerian actress and renowned fashion and beauty blogger, as its inaugural African digital ambassador.

Otedola will headline a campaign showcasing L'Oréal’s Infallible Makeup Range and collaborate on the brand's women-centric initiatives.

Reflecting on her journey, Otedola expressed her excitement, recalling fond memories of playing with her mother’s L'Oréal lipsticks and mascaras as a child.

In an Instagram announcement, she described the role as a "dream come true," emphasising her pride in representing the brand "not only across Africa but also on a global stage."

Otedola will partner with South African actress, Thuso Mbedu, who was appointed L'Oréal's international brand ambassador in 2023.

Mbedu, known for her role in the Hollywood hit "The Woman King," serves as L'Oréal’s spokesperson for the Sub-Saharan Africa region.

A spokesperson from L'Oréal Paris praised Otedola saying, "she is now part of this strong line-up of women who lift each other up and convey a strong statement of confidence celebrating women’s empowerment."
