LVMH acquires another skincare line

LVMH has acquired a 70 per cent stake in Nude Skincare, with the current owners retaining 30 percent of the company.

Founded by Bryan Meehan and Ali Hewson (wife of U2 frontman Bono) Nude Skincare is described as luxury, natural, high performance skincare brand which works intelligently with the skin to correct the signs of ageing.”

Of the sale, Nude skincare founder Bryan Meehan says: The partnership with LVMH will allow us to achieve so much more for Natural Skincare than we ever could alone. Their resources and knowledge will be incredible assets for us and my team can’t wait to get started.”

Nude Skincare will continue to be based in London. Bryan Meehan, founder and executive chairman of Nude Skincare, and Anna Ghee, general manager, will continue in their respective roles. Hugues Dusseaux, president of new ventures LVMH perfumes & cosmetics, will work with Nude on behalf of LVMH, reports GCI Magazine.
