Eleanor Pendleton becomes a brand muse

As the launch of her second digital magazine sees Eleanor Pendleton getting air time from the likes of E! News to The Daily Mail UK, the founder and editor of GrittyPretty has some other exciting news - she is the muse behind the TONI&GUY Future Hair Fund.

This week, TONI&GUY launched an exclusive pre-payment plan to broaden access to the brand’s premium hairdressing services. At a starting cost of $20 per week, the financial management plan helps to eliminate big, one-off bills by allowing consumers to pre-pay and pre-plan their hair regime.

“The TONI&GUY Future Hair Fund will make large service bills a thing of the past by providing the opportunity for flexible payment options. Australian women (and men) continue to seek financial efficiency within their lifestyle choices without wanting to compromise on service quality, the TONI&GUY Future Hair Fund provides a perfect solution,” says Pendleton.

To find out more about the collaboration between Pendleton and the hair care brand, BEAUTYDIRECTORY chatted to TONI&GUY Hair Care marketing communications director Kris Dyball.

What factors inspired you to choose Eleanor Pendleton as a muse?
TONI&GUY are a definitive hair fashion brand. Our service offering is part of a beauty regime and yet we are intrinsically linked to the world of fashion - the fashion industry formulates a really strong part of our DNA. This ethos is something we observe within Eleanor. For us, she is the personification of beauty and fashion working in perfect harmony, a confident female who, while passionately motivated by the fashion industry, has a personal style that is really beautiful yet accessible. We also believe Eleanor is a wonderful ambassador for the modern Australian woman who seeks intelligent solutions at the same time as premium experiences.

What will she do in her role as a muse?
Eleanor's role is really about connection. Her collaboration with us provides a vehicle to reach out to the modern woman and cement the TONI&GUY brand as accessible to more women (and men) who have perhaps viewed TONI&GUY as too cutting-edge, too modern, or in some instances, too expensive. For over 50 years, we have harnessed authentic trust in our services by the delivery of a consistently professional and premium service experience. We now want to respond to a market that is looking for more manageable financial solutions without compromising on quality.

Will TONI&GUY continue working with Eleanor on future projects?
Eleanor is the consummate professional; she cares about people and about her contribution to projects. We have huge admiration for what Eleanor has personally achieved, a success that is beautifully understated. We would absolutely LOVE to work with Eleanor again.
