Who: Daniel Avakian
When: 12pm, May 18. The Theatre, Carriageworks.

Hair: Marie Cain for Goldwell Professional

Hair look: "We've gone through hair with a double application of the Power Whip from the roots to ends - working in four to five sections around the head. We're then saturating the hair with Power Whip and then blasting it in with the hairdryer - keeping the hair flat. We've put in a deep side part with hair flat and swept around the face at the front. We're then taking the hair into a low ponytail and fastening, and then twisting it into a knot at the base of the head which is fastened with one pin at the base. Some girls have the hair plaited at the back and then fasted with a buckle. The plait is flat and floppy so it looks like it is worn-in. After that, it's tweaking the texture, pulling it out and manipulating it a bit more."

Make-up: Lara Srokowski for Lancôme

Make-up look: "The make-up look we have created is effortless and chic to complement the clothing. It's a strong focus on the skin, so we've used a lot of skincare to prepare the skin first. One of the focus products is Advanced Genifique, which gives that natural glow to the skin. We've then used a hydrating primer that captures the luminosity on the skin. We've then used three shades of cushion - one as the all over foundation, then one two shades darker and one two shades lighter to create a highlight and contour. The lighter foundation is on the high points of the face and the contour is under the cheekbone. We wanted to use more liquid products so we have that dewy, glowing skin. We've then used the cushion blush that we're launching shortly on the apples of the cheeks in a fresh peach colour. The eyes are really natural - we've done a slight contour with a matte nude colour in the socket of the eye, a little bit of mascara on the top lashes, and then with the brow - we've done a little bit of colour towards the bottom of the brow and then combed the brows up. On the lip, we've gone for a nude lip to tone out any natural pigments, and then we've got a gradient with a Juicy Shaker in a nude colour in the centre of the lips to give a sheen."

Nail look: “Daniel Avakian's nail look is inspired by the '90s. They're a matte silver nail in My First Ring with a matte top coat and just one line of white down one nail. There's a bit of piping in Daniel's collection, so the line is a reflection of that."
