The BD team get their moisture on to conquer (silly season-induced) parched complexions.

Elucent Elucent Anti Ageing Day Moisturiser SPF 30
This summer has been all about the double whammy moisturiser-sunscreen products for me (you'll even sometimes catch me wearing these at night - although I do realise they are designed for daytime). What especially appealed to me about the Elucent Anti Ageing Day Moisturiser was that it has a SPF coverage of 50+ - meaning that even though I am getting the benefits of a moisturiser, I'm still getting the ultimate levels of sun protection. Not only that, the Elucent moisturiser has a lightweight feel and beautiful subtle scent - making it a dream to apply on a daily basis. With the addition of anti-ageing benefits, this is one product that comes with my big tick of approval. - Yelena

After a summer of pina colada-fuelled socialising, January signals the time for me to put down the novelty cocktail and undertake a detox of sorts. Armed with a diet of green smoothies I try to fill my body with as many nutrients as I can - and the notion extends to my skincare regimen. A moisturiser like John Plunkett’s Multi Vitamin Moisturiser is a skincare saviour that can help you undo the sins (or at least some of them) of summertime. My dull complexion is boosted with the product’s combination of vitamins A, B3, B5, C and E, which tackles fine lines, dark spots and redness. It also helps to re-establish the natural moisture balance of my parched complexion, diminished after a month or two of sunbaking and festive celebrating into the wee hours. - Sarah

My dehydrated skin has been screaming for a rejuvenating quick fix after the Champagne frenzy I put it through during the festive season. And if there’s one product that hydrates everything from my face to my hands and body - it’s Skin Theory’s Daily Moisturising Lotion. The lightweight lotion is enriched with CoQ10 to nourish and soothe dry skin, and was especially handy for replenishing my cracked hands after washing all those Christmas dishes. Lather your limbs in this antioxidant-rich goodness to give skin a healthy-looking finish, even if your liver hasn’t quite caught up yet! - Ally

 White Lucent Luminizing Infuser
Given it’s party season, we all want our complexions to be on point. Good skin just makes us feel good, feel real good. Make-up goes on better, we feel comfortable walking around barefaced and life just generally feels more rainbow-y… amirite? Alas, copious amount of food and alcohol have left my skin feeling and looking below par. I have one saving grace though, the Shiseido White Lucent Luminizing Infuser. I’ve been using it under my make-up and boy is it giving me a glow. The alcohol-free formula features brightening properties which give that luminescent look we all pine for. - Kelly

I am cursed with the constant fear of breakouts all over my face, so to combat this, when I use a moisturiser I try to make sure it is oil-free. As long as I stick to this rule the majority of the time my skin remains blemish-free, so I am always on the lookout for products that offer this while also giving my face enough hydration. Enter the Formula 10.0.6 Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturiser. It nourished my skin while also protecting it from any excess oil and it’s packed with vitamin B3 and guarana so I was left with a refreshed and shine-free complexion. - Laura
