Who: Emma Mulholland

When: 2pm, May 18. The Box, Carriageworks.

Hair: Richard Kavanagh for

Hair look: “Emma was inspired by 1960s sci fi for the beginning of the collection and then transformed this to be more inspired by Gregg Araki films and the idea of exploring gender transition and neutrality and the coming of age of trying to find yourself. We decided we would do a different look on every girl, 21 girls, 21 different hair styles. We've got girls who we've been able to cut their hair, some we've been able to colour, we've got a bunch of different wigs I bought at downtown Brooklyn. If you look, there is this theme of roundness and hint of 1960s sci fi but at the same time, they are this gang of girls who have been partying for three days and it's day three. We're just going crazy with the hair - cuts, colours, whatever we want to do! On the flip side, there are these moments of respite in the beauty in the show with girls who have a fresher look. We're leaving them with their natural hair - blowdrying their hair with a round brush, applying a little bit of Diamond Oil and a little bit of Pillow Proof Primer so it's really silky - and then we're popping a couple of braids in to make it feel playful. It's hair that has had some thought, but not too much thought."

Make-up: Nigel Stanislaus for Maybelline New York

Make-up look: “The Emma Mulholland girl is a naughty space cadet - she's a PG version of Barbarella. She's quite alternative, fun and cool, so we're going to create a beautiful base and then we're going to put embellishments like glitter and stars. We're smoothing the skin out with Dream Velvet Foundation - it's not a pretentious look, it's quite a raw, grungy dress-up aesthetic. We're then going to contour the face using the Nudes Palette using the taupes and lighlty brushing it on. We're going to fill in the brows with the Master Brow Pro Palette. Lastly, we're putting Baby Lips on all the areas that we're going to stick the glitter on - so we're going to swipe it on and then stick the stars on."
