Australia’s oldest department store, David Jones, hosted its 2023 Beauty Awards at the Elizabeth Street Flagship store in Sydney, celebrating the very best products the beauty industry has to offer.
Making an appearance at the event was supermodel and former David Jones ambassador, Lauren Hutton, who worked with the business for four years from 1997. Hutton participated in a Q&A, led by renowned beauty journalist, Eleanor Pendleton, who has a longstanding relationship with the department store.
16 products across a number of different categories and voted by Australia’s most esteemed beauty experts — including celebrity makeup artists Max May and Victoria Baron, facialist Ingrid Seaburn and dermatologist, Dr Shammi Theesan — were awarded as winners.
Close to 20,000 David Jones customers also took part, voting for their favourite product for the People’s Choice Award, with Chanel’s Coco Mademoiselle Eau de Parfum coming out as a clear winner.
