Getting satisfaction: The brand topping the tables

When it comes to slip, slop, slapping – it seems comes up trumps with customers across Australia. Results from Canstar Blue’s annual Most Satisfied Customers – Sunscreens awards are in, with Hamilton voted the number one sunscreen for consumer satisfaction.

The awards saw Canstar Blue survey 3000 Australian consumers to measure and track customer satisfaction, with participants asked to judge sunscreens on scent, value for money, texture, ease of absorption, and effectiveness. Coming in equal first with Aldi’s Ombra, Hamilton received a five star rating across four categories to take out the top spot. These included effectiveness, texture and consistency, ease of absorption, and overall satisfaction.

“We are so thrilled to be recognised by our customers for such a respected award like Canstar Blue. For us, it reinforces the quality and reliability that Hamilton is known for,” says Key Pharmaceuticals group brand manager Tara Edmonds. This win spells the second time Hamilton has taken home the gold prize for customer satisfaction, with the brand also topping the table in 2011.

So why is Hamilton such a hot commodity? First launched in 1932, Hamilton sunscreens have been protecting Australian families for over 80 years – with customers drawn to the tailored range of products suiting the whole family’s needs. Featuring dry-touch technology and the highest protection thanks to its SPF 50+ broad spectrum coverage, Hamilton is a popular choice for Australian consumers.

The brand’s line-up includes 14 products across the categories of sun protection and skincare. A key offering in the range is the Everyday Face SPF50+, with this moisturising face sunscreen providing invisible coverage suitable for all skin types. “It feels moisturising but without that greasy sunscreen feeling. The invisible matte finish makes it perfect under make-up so it fits easily into your everyday skincare routine,” explains Edmonds.
