A look inside the beauty ranges debuting at NYFW

As New Yorkers gear up for fashion week to take over the city, beauty brands are also preparing to send their new collections down the catwalk.

Bobbi Brown x Ulla Johnson are paying homage to Johnson’s muses in a collaboration that contains an eye palette, cheek palettes, lip tints and crushed lip colours. The products, named after Johnson’s favourite people, will be available to the public after making its debut at Johnson’s show on February 7.

M.A.C is launching Art Library, a collection of three 12-pan eye shadow palettes designed by its team of artists. The palettes will be sold alongside false lashes and three lipsticks. The full collection launches in the US February 14, and the products will be used at various shows including, Chromat, Jeremy Scott, Brandon Maxwell and The Blonds.

R+Co is going beyond hair care with a collection based on its founders, Garren, Thom Priano and Howard McLaren, experiences of New York Fashion Week. The Backstage Collection includes three products, Art School Root Touch-up Gel, Magic Wand Brow Gel and the Dark Waves Fragrance Gel. The line will be shown at Anna Sui on February 11.

OPI’s newest destination collection is inspired by Tokyo and features bright pink, orange and blue hues. The collection will make its debut at the Adeam show, at which viral manicurist Mei Kawajiri will be the lead nail artist.

And to wrap things up, Puma x Maybelline New York’s beauty-streetwear collaboration, which contains five limited-edition products, will be celebrated with a launch party during the week.
