Kylie Cosmetics set to become a billion-dollar brand

You wouldn’t have thought that a 20-year-old’s cosmetics business could create $US420 million in revenue after only 18 months; however, that’s exactly what Kylie Jenner’s namesake Kylie Cosmetics has done.

For the first time since its inception in November 2015, Kris Jenner revealed in an interview with WWD just how much Kylie’s business had made – with the supporting documentation to boot.

For comparison it took Tom Ford Beauty a decade to make a revenue of $US500 million, Bobbi Brown 25 years to reach the billion-dollar-mark, and Lancôme 80.

Kylie Cosmetics is set to see a 25 per cent increase in sales this year alone. Forecasters predict that if this growth continues, Kylie Cosmetics will be a billion dollar company by 2022.
