Morphe teams up with YouTuber Pony

According to Allure, US makeup brand Morphe has snapped up South Korean Instagram star, Pony, to front its new ‘Ice Fantasy’ makeup collection.

The 29-year-old, whose real name is Hye-Min Park, currently boasts almost seven million Instagram followers and over five million YouTube subscribers. In addition to launching her own beauty line, Pony has appeared in campaigns for M.A.C Cosmetics and she also nabbed a spot in Forbes’ 30 Under 30 Asia in 2017.

Included in Morphe’s new line is three pastel coloured lipsticks in lilac, peach and rose hues, as well as a ‘35I Icy Fantasy Artistry Palette,' featuring 35 highly-pigmented pastel shades from purple and blues to greens and peaches – all dreamed up by Pony herself.

"I had so much fun partnering with #Morphe on this cool campaign," Pony captioned on Instagram, sharing a video of herself showing off the various shades in a pastel coloured, cosmic universe. Speaking of the palette’s versatility, she told Allure: "I don't really see it just as an eye palette," adding, "You can use it as a blush or even on top of your lipstick, and, of course, for a festival look, you can apply it everywhere to reach whatever look that you want to achieve."

In the past, Morphe has also teamed up with other major beauty moguls, including Jeffree Star, Jaclyn Hill and James Charles.
