Olay Magnemask Infusion Hydrating Starter Kit - Laura
What it is: A hydrating kit to rejuvenate the skin and minimise fine lines.
My experience: This kit was a dream to use over the last few weeks as the face mask really melted into my skin leaving it feeling soft and refreshed. I applied it about 3 times a week at night, evenly spreading the cream all over my face. I then used the magnetic infuser to massage it into my skin in circular motions for about 1-2 minutes in order to better absorb it. It definitely worked as my skin has been feeling amazing and hydrated everyday.
Maybelline New York Total Temptation Shadow + Highlight Palette - Tiarne
What it is: An eyeshadow and highlight palette with sensorial embossing
My experience: I really enjoyed this palette! The colours are super pigmented with a bit of shimmer and there are lots of great colours to choose from. It has five matte eyeshadows, three shimmer eyeshadows and two highlighters. The colours blended and glided easily, and I found it simple to build when looking for a more dramatic look. They lasted all night, didn’t fall off when applying and just looked amazing! I also loved the instructions on the back! Amazing for both beginners and experts.
Jurlique Radiant Skin Foaming Cleanser - Tash
What it is: A soft, lightly whipped hydrating cleanser enriched with birch, calendula, spilanthes, rosemary, yarrow, lemon balm and licorice that are handpicked from Jurlique’s organic farm.
My experience: This new cleanser from Jurlique is in a luxe silky flip-top tube, convenient for at home or travel. The formulation is quite creamy and smooth and foams up to a thick lather which feels hydrating to the skin, not at all soapy or stripping. My skin felt incredibly cleansed and purified after washing away revealing skin that was soft to touch and brighter!
Alpha-H Liquid Gold Ultimate Perfecting Mask - Rachel
What it is: A firming, resurfacing, radiance-boosting face mask.
My experience: I absolutely love masking and was so excited to give this one a try! Besides owning and loving other Alpha-H products, after reading this mask was formulated with glycolic acid, lactic acids, soothing tazman pepper™, and shea butter, I knew this would work so well in resurfacing my skin and leaving it radiant. I was so impressed with the results after just 10 minutes, where I was left looking glowy and instantly revitalised! The mask not only worked to exfoliate and firm my skin, it kept it super hydrated even hours after it was washed off. Can’t recommend this product enough for those weekly pamper sessions!
BABOR Skinovage Vitalizing Serum - Nadine
What it is: The vitalizing serum is part of the new version of the advanced biogen series which is used to promote metabolism and strengthen the antioxidant defense system which protects the skin from UV and blue light.
My experience: I was so happy when this serum landed on my desk. I have heard AMAZING things about BABOR but never had the chance to try one of their products. I started using the serum after cleansing in the morning and recently I have also been using it at night before I go to bed. Firstly, I love the consistency of the serum it is not thick at all and feels like a drink of water for your skin once applied. I have only been using it for 2 weeks but already by skin feels smooth and looks more radiant. I love the fact that this serum fights the signs of digital ageing since I am plonked in front of a computer all day. Will definitely continue using this gem!
Ardell DUO® Strip Lash Adhesive in Dark - Caitlin
What it is: Fake eyelash adhesive, a latex based formula designed for all day wear and can be used for individual or strip lashes
My experience: I am late to the game with applying fake eyelashes so was eager to try this lash adhesive as I have gone through many different brands from my friends makeup kits and noticed towards the end of the night out they are falling off. When I put on Ardell DUO Strip Lash Adhesive I was amazed, first off the glue is not stark white which is amazing and doesnt mess up my eyeshadow/liner and when it dries it goes clear. It lasts the whole day going into the night keeping the lashes in its place and right before a shower it is so easy to pull the lashes off giving the most satisfying feeling ever! Love this product.
