The sustainability switch: ECOYA announces recyclable packaging update

The latest brand to be featured in BD’s sustainability switch series, which highlights the positive changes beauty brands are making in order to become more environmentally friendly, is Australasian fragrance house, ECOYA.

This June, the home and fragrance brand is releasing its new-look, and eco-friendly, Bodycare collection. The Hand & Body Wash, redesigned in a grey frosted bottle, and the Hand & Body Lotion, in a clear frosted bottle, are now proudly made from fully recyclable PET plastic.

“Our newly designed Bodycare packaging is the result of understanding the evolving aesthetic of our customer and creating something that can be proudly displayed within the home,” said ECOYA general manager, Claire Barnes.

ECOYA Bodycare formulations are unchanged, using botanical bases of macadamia, coconut and almond oils, with rich vitamin E. The range is also still vegan-friendly and free from parabens, propylene glycol, silicone and artificial colours.

The collection is available in five iconic ECOYA fragrances - French Pear, Lotus Flower, Sweet Pea & Jasmine, Guava & Lychee Sorbet and Coconut & Elderflower, and will be on counter in June.
