Who: Bec + Bridge
When: 10:00am, May 13, Carriageworks

Hair: Richard Kavanagh for Redken
Hair look:
"It's a very youthful, organic, easy, lived-in kind of style and we wanted to make sure it felt like it was connected to fashion in some way. We've used Redken Fashion Waves and plaited the hair in nine sections, then heated it with a straightener. Then we drag it out and use a little bit of oil on the roots. We're working with Redken's Dry Styling Range and depending on the girls, we're either using the new powder, or the new texture spray that gives a dusty, fly away finish.

It needs to feel very lived-in. In fact the inspiration for this look is Puberty Blues – girls with naturally curly hair that she's been trying to control by wearing a hat to flatten it down."

Makeup: Nicole Thompson for MAC
Makeup look:
“There's five different looks today that use a bunch of custom mixes – a buttery yellow, a lilac, a lime green, an icy-blu and peach. It's a pastel twist but there's nothing subtle about it, it's almost like neon pastel we've applied on the inner corner of the eye and behind the lashes. We want the girls to look really bright so we're not going to bring the look down with eyeliner and too much mascara. We want it to look really fresh

We want the models to have perfect looking skin so we've used Studio Fix Fluid, Studio Fix+ and touching it up with Studio Fix Powder, with a bit of oil that helps sheer it out. It's surfer girls so we want the skin to look like it's been stained and bronzed by the sun.”
