BEAUTYDIRECTORY and beautyheaven editorial director Michelle Bateman has announced she will depart the company on January 5, to work on freelance projects.
Bateman joined the business two years ago and has overseen the content strategy on both sites.
“Working with the dedicated, talented and generous teams at bh and BD has been a career highlight and I’ve thoroughly enjoyed every minute,” says Bateman. “While I’m very sad to be leaving, ultimately the lure of freelancing has won me over once again.”

Bateman will work on a combination of editorial and brand-owned projects, including content creation, copywriting and digital strategy.
She will be working through the Christmas shutdown period in the bh and BD office, before finishing on Friday, January 5.
