TV WEEK announces new editor

Following Emma Nolan's departure from TV WEEK after 15 years in the position, Thomas Woodgate has been announced as the newest editor-in-chief of the magazine.

Bauer Media’s general manager of women’s lifestyle and entertainment, Jayne Ferguson, made the announcement on Thursday, saying: “Thomas has been part of the TV WEEK team for more than three years and has held the Deputy Editor role for the past 18 months. Over this time he has made a significant contribution to the magazine, playing a key role in the TV WEEK Logie Awards and spearheading a number of one-shots for the brand. He is also a key advocate for TV WEEK, making regular radio appearances to comment on all things TV.”

Talking about his new appointment, Thomas said: “After joining the TV WEEK team over three years ago, I’m excited to continue championing the TV WEEK brand and leading our highly-talented team as Editor. I am committed to building on its reputation as one of the country’s most trusted and much-loved magazine brands, whilst finding new ways to connect with our audience.

“With more channels, more shows, and more platforms than ever before, I look forward to guiding our loyal audiences through the ever-changing face of TV with advice on the best shows to watch and how to find them.”
