Founders of Sukin launch new skincare range

The founders of internationally-renowned skincare brand, Sukin Naturals, have joined forces once again, announcing the launch of Alkira Skin Care.

The vegan-friendly and cruelty-free range, which comes from successful beauty entrepreneurs and siblings, Alison Goodger and Simon O'Connor, is formulated and inspired by Australian native extracts.

Alkira Skin Care, which means ‘bright and sunny’ in the Australian Indigenous language, showcases the incredible benefits derived from Australia’s flora.

Infused with ingredients and extracts such as Kakadu plum, finger lime caviar, quandong, Davidson plum, lilly pilly and kangaroo paw, Alkira Skin Care products repair, protect, revitalise and leave the skin glowing.

“Australia is blessed with some of the most beautiful and diverse landscapes in the world. This varied landscape offers up a collection of extraordinary Australian native extracts, typically rich in vitamins and antioxidants, which provide a powerhouse of goodness to help nourish and regenerate skin cells,” said Goodger.

“The idea is to always use fewer, more efficient ingredients in a smarter way and with Alkira Skin Care, it’s to introduce new and exciting Australian native extracts that have impressive bioactive constituents to define our products.”

Alkira Skin Care is made up of five different ranges - Hydrating, Brightening, Hydra+, Detoxifying and Refining - and will include cleansers, creams, facial oils and moisturisers. It will retail from $14.95 to $19.95.
