Amouage celebrates its 40th anniversary

The high perfumery House of Amouage has marked its 40th anniversary. To go hand-in-hand with this moment, the brand has released two unique scents that pay homage to Amouage’s heritage. Extending into its acclaimed collection of Exceptional Extraits.

Amouage Dia 40 Woman (100mL RRP $750) is a perfume with a vibrant and sophisticated nod to vintage aldehydic florals, the original Dia Woman is a testament to a mystifying sense of femininity. Now containing 40 per cent pure perfume oils, Dia 40 Woman is the delicately generous incarnation of Amouage’s icon. 

Top notes: cyclamen aldehydes, musks, blackcurrant, and violet leaves. Heart notes: rose, orange blossom, carnation, ylang-ylang, cistus, bay leaves, and tarragon. Base notes: orris, sandalwood, amyris, and guaiac wood.

Amouage Jubilation 40 Man (100mL RRP $750) was released originally for Amouage’s 25th anniversary in 2008, Jubilation XXV celebrates the nobility of masculinity that embraces the full beauty of the East and the West. Now following 10 weeks of patient ageing at 40 per cent concentration, Jubilation 40 Man has become more complex and multi-faceted. 

Top notes: blackberry, blackcurrant, rosemary, labdanum, orange, davana. Heart notes: scotch broom, frankincense, cinnamon, clove, bay st thomas, rose, celery seeds. Base notes: patchouli, cistus, ooponax, myrrh, cedarwood, guaiac wood, musks, moss, ambergris, oud.
