Australia’s biggest beauty review website, beautyheaven.com.au, has announced the winners of its 2021 GLOSSCAR AWARDS.
The annual initiative showcases the best beauty products to enter the market last year, with members voting for their favourite products across makeup, skincare, hair, body and health, hands and feet, natural, perfume, men, and mum and baby.
“This year 100 top tier beautyheaven members judged the best new launches of 2020, to determine 44 winners and runner-ups,” said beautyheaven digital managing editor, Samantha McMeekin.
Winners included long-standing brand favourites such as Bobbi Brown, Avene, NIVEA, OGX and Batiste, as well as newcomers BOOST LAB taking out top prize for best new serum.
“After a year at home, it’s no secret that online orders in the beauty sector soared. This meant more pre-shop research and an increased demand for trusted and informative online reviews,” said McMeekin.
“Thanks to our dedicated members, beautyheaven currently hosts over 314,300 reviews to help guide consumers and now, thanks to the Glosscars, they have a guide to the best new products too.”
