Ultradent Products Australia (who own brands such as Opalescence) was presented with the Australian Dental Industry Leadership Award at an awards ceremony held on 24 March 2018 in Sydney.
Convened by the Australian Dental Industry Association (ADIA), the peak business organisation representing dental product manufacturers and suppliers, the Australian Dental Industry Leadership Award recognises corporate leadership embodied in the form of corporate accomplishments that reflect well on the dental industry thus encouraging other companies to strive for greater success.
“There were a record number of entries from businesses that have set the standard that others strive to achieve. It’s in this context that the team at Ultradent Products Australia can be immensely proud of their achievement,” said Troy Williams, ADIA Chief Executive Officer.
Ultradent Products Australia was recognised for its ability to grow from a little-known supplier locally, to an industry partner in just a few short years. From a team of one in 2012, to a team of four who contribute to strengthening the reputation of Australia’s dental industry for providing dental professionals quality treatment options.
“ADIA is a proud supporter of small businesses and we couldn’t be more pleased to see Ultradent Products Australia success in an environment where the Australian Bureau of Statistics’ data shows more than 60 per cent of small businesses cease operating within the first three years of starting,” Mr Williams said.
The Australian Dental Industry Leadership Award was one of a number of awards presented by ADIA in fields including marketing, innovation and partnership. Award entries were assessed by a panel of independent judges with the experience and integrity to ensure the dental industry's achievements are properly recognised.
“In a year that ADIA received a record number of entries this recognition for Ultradent Products Australia is a truly special achievement”, Mr Williams said.
