It will air the week of October 28, marking the first time a female sporting award ceremony has been shown on free-to-air television.

According to Women’s Health editor, Jacqui Mooney, this is a “tremendous recognition” of the dedication of Australian athletes.
“WinS is so much more than an awards night, it’s an always-on platform committed to supporting sportswomen at all levels, and this is the natural next step for the property,” she said.

Seven West Media chief revenue officer, Kurt Burnette also revealed he was thrilled to share the awards with the millions of Australians reached across the network every month.
“Securing the broadcast shows the combined power of Women’s Health and Seven West Media as a joint sporting force,” he said.

Sponsors for the awards include the Federal Government, Pantene, Samsung, Rebel and Toyota.
