EDITOR'S PICK: CANMAKE: Perfect Multi Eyes – Georgie

What it is: This palette features five eye shadows in the same tone of brown, with varying degrees of brightness, making it simple to achieve a beautiful color gradation.
My experience: The first thing that really attracted me to this palette was the lovely packaging. So cute! The eyeshadows actually contain jojoba seed oil, grapeseed oil and chamomile flower extract, all of which lend moisture to the powders ensuring they don’t cake or dry out the eyelid. The colours are nicely neutral meaning I had no problem wearing them both at work and in the evening. All in all a handy little palette to keep on you at all times.

Refa: S Carat – Michelle

What it is: A facial roller with 360-degree spheres and a mild electric current, designed to replicate the movement and stimulation of a facial massage.
My experience: With a host of warnings (including instructions not to use if you’re sensitive to metals, pregnant, very tired or have been drinking), I wasn’t really sure what to expect from this facial roller! Indeed, the combination of 360-degree rotating spheres and a mild electrical current takes some getting used to, as the device kneads and pulls the skin in different directions. I recommend starting with light pressure, and building up once you’re comfortable. Just like a great facial massage, it leaves skin looking plump and glowing immediately, and I can see it improving firmness around the jawline and cheekbones over time.

Dr. G: Red Blemish Soothing Ampoule – Zoë

What it is: a skin treatment to treat and relieve sensitive skin and redness
My experience: I suffer from mild rosacea, so I’m always hunting for products to soothe skin and alleviate redness. This lightweight formula delivered on its promise to relieve skin, as 23 per cent plant-derived ingredients (including turmeric, lavender, apple and rosemary) calmed my irritated and sensitive complexion.

W Cosmetics: Cure Natural Aqua Gel – Grace

What it is: An exfoliating gel that gently removes dead skin cells
My experience:  I wasn’t sure what to expect from this exfoliating gel, as its claims to reduce enlarged pores, blackheads, pimples and blemishes as well as help promote skin renewal for a soft, smooth and bright complexion were so large. However, there’s a reason why this is a cult product in Japan! The formula was non-abrasive so for someone with very sensitive skin this was great. The gel itself is satisfying to use as you can actually see your dead skin coming off during application!

W Cosmetics: Koji Dolly Wink Liquid Eyeliner Waterproof Super Black – Stephanie

What it is: A quick drying, waterproof liquid liner designed to adhere strongly and last all day.
My experience: This inky black liner is so smooth and fluid to apply! I love that the felt tip is really thin which makes it perfect for precise lining and getting in between lashes to really define the lash-line.
