Australia’s top 5 most requested cosmetic surgeries

The world’s most popular clinic comparison site Whatclinic.com has crunched the numbers to provide Australia with what our most searched for plastic surgeries are.

The trends for 2016 show a decrease in searches for breast implants and an increase in searches for eyelid surgery. The results are as follows:

1. Breast implants. (Change in inquiries: -33%. Average price in Australian dollars: $8,130.)

2. Liposuction. (Change in inquiries: -15%. Average price in Australian dollars: $5,067.)

3. Eyelid surgery. (Change in inquiries: 9%. Average price in Australian dollars: $4,536.)

4. Tummy tuck. (Change in inquiries: -8%. Average price in Australian dollars: $7405.)

5. Rhinoplasty. (Change in inquiries: -1%. Average price in Australian dollars: $7,832.)

Unsurprisingly, lip augmentation topped the 2016 popularity list for non-surgical cosmetic treatment. This was closely followed by dermal fillers and non-surgical nose jobs.
