Top 100 greatest beauty products in 2026 named

WWD's Beauty Inc has rallied 100 beauty insiders to name the top 100 greatest beauty products in 2026. We're talking many of the leading names in beauty from the worlds of brand, retail, artistry, investment, communications and more.

"Fundamentally, the product has to be extraordinary, and you need to know how to get the consumer to fall in love," said Estée Lauder Companies executive vice president and chief brand officer, Jane Hertzmark Hudis.

Even in today's overflowing beauty landscape, consumers flock to such standouts.

"Six in 10 consumers turn to word of mouth and social media to guide their beauty purchases," Circana senior vice president and beauty industry adviser, Larissa Jensen told Beauty Inc.

"When products truly deliver, physically or emotionally, they are shared over time and become icons."

All of that translates into big business. Beauty Inc asked Circana to estimate the collected revenue of the 100 products on this list. The total? A whopping $3.2 billion annually, not bad in an industry where more than 30,000 products are estimated to launch every year.
