Kylie Jenner's new trademark fails first round

Kylie Jenner has reportedly experienced issues trademarking the name ‘Kylie Skin by Kylie Jenner’, with the U.S Patent & Trademark Office taking issue with it.

According to The Blast, Jenner filed paperwork back in October to secure the trademark for her upcoming skincare line. However, it seems the organisation has requested amendments to the application, with a particular focus over the exclusive use of the word ‘skin.’

The 21-year-old now has a 'grace period' to make changes to her application. If this is not completed in a timely manner, the U.S Patent & Trademark Office may throw it out entirely.

Jenner’s skincare line is expected to consist of scrubs, moisturisers, toners and cleansers.
