Following news Jackie Maxted will step down from her role as Publisher at the end of this year, Bauer Media is thrilled to announce the appointment of Michelle Blancato to the role of General Manager.
Blancato has been with the company for five of her 15 years in publishing, previously holding roles including Online Manager at BEAUTYDIRECTORY and deputy editor at Cosmopolitan Extensions for ACP, as well as working for BBC Worldwide, IPC Media and Future Publishing.
While currently on maternity leave, Blancato will return in a part-time capacity in November before commencing the full-time role next year. Her position will preside over the online beauty business’ three digital spaces - BEAUTYDIRECTORY, beautyheaven and homeheaven.
“Jackie has created a wonderful portfolio of sites and I'm extremely excited to be heading up the business I am so passionate about. This is a fantastic opportunity to take the Group into the next stage of its development and success with a dynamic team beside me," she said.
