Changes at Mamamia's You Beauty podcast 

After a successful trial earlier in the year, Mamamia's You Beauty podcast is now releasing episodes daily from May 31, 2021.

"As the world’s first daily beauty podcast, You Beauty will be hosted by Mamamia’s executive editor and beauty industry icon, Leigh Campbell, along with Kelly McCarren in an industry-leading format that brings beauty content into the daily lives and ears of Australian women," Mia Freedman shared on Instagram.

Gritty Pretty shares business update

Eleanor Pendleton has shared with BD the latest changes at Gritty Pretty. The team's contact details have been updated, with the new email address format to include ".com.au". For a full staff list, click here.

Body+Soul to become standalone magazine

News Corp Australia is rolling out changes to its Sunday magazines, as part of weekly mastheads The Sunday Telegraph (NSW), Sunday Herald Sun (VIC), The Sunday Mail (SA) and The Sunday Mail (QLD).

As part of those changes, Body+Soul will now become a standalone magazine, published Sunday May 23 for the first time.

As well as the latter, Stellar and The Binge Guide will be paired up as a flip cover magazine.

Staff update at ELLE and marie claire Australia

Are Media's ELLE Australia and marie claire Australia are pleased to welcome Lucy Cocoran, who has joined the team as digital lifestyle editor.

Cocoran was previously e-commerce editor at Pedestrian Group, and lifestyle writer at Whimn.com.au prior to that. For a full staff list, click here.

esprit Magazine announces a massive change

esprit Magazine is thrilled to announce a very exciting change – it has been renamed from esprit to Retail Beauty. More on that story, here.

Tamara Davis has been appointed Head of Lifestyle at Mamamia

Tamara will oversee Mamamia's editorial content and direction across their lifestyle verticals including beauty, fashion, health and wellbeing, parenting, careers and money.

RESCU.com.au welcomes new staff member

Ricky Allen has announced she has commenced a new role writing and producing beauty content for RESCU.com.au.

PR updates:

Rachel Krasky farewells L'Oréal Luxe and Australia

Senior communications and community manager, who has looked after luxury brands YSL and Giorgio Armani Beauty for two and a half years, is heading to New York City in July. 

Rachel is super excited to share that she has landed a global marketing role with essie nail polish.

"I will be director of influencer and social, helping to set the global strategy for the brand in this space," she told BD in an interview all about her move. Read more here.

Annabel Jenkins has joined the team at Swisse, stepping up as PR and partnerships manager.
