After purchasing Hamilton, Hissyfit and Dr.Lewinn’s over the last two years, Valeant Pharmaceuticals Australia is showing no signs of slowing down with yesterday’s acquisition of Invisible Zinc.
The buyout of Ganehill Pty Ltd, the privately owned Australian company responsible for Invisible Zinc, is in line with the company’s focus on taking over a number of Australian sun care brands.
The Invisible Zinc brands will both complement and strengthen our existing suncare product portfolio in Australia,” says Valeant Australia president and chief operating officer Rajiv Desilva.
The addition of this strong brand to our product portfolio will solidify Valeant’s position as a leader in the Australian suncare market, particularly in pharmacies.”
Invisible Zinc founders Adil and Andrea Bux will continue working on marketing and new product development for Invisible Zinc over the next twelve months.
