After months of anticipation, Kardashian clan member Kylie Jenner’s foray into make-up has finally arrived with the Lip Kit By Kylie.
Jenner first unveiled news of the launch yesterday with an Instagram post, commenting: “Wow. Been dreaming of this day for 2 years now. This was a long process but an amazing one! Visiting the factories and sitting with the amazing chemists creating the perfect colors and formulas for you guys! This is all me and I put my everything into these lip kits. I hope you guys love them as much as I do. Definitely more to come. I only hope for it to get better. Enjoy. The trio of nude shades are sold as the coupling of a velvet-matte liquid lipstick and lip liner, available in Dolce K (light brown), Candy K (taupe-y pink) and True Brown K (dark brown). The range is available for $US29 and is currently sold solely online via http://lipkitbykylie.com.
The line has been met with fan pandemonium - launched at 9am yesterday as a part of the Cyber Monday online sales, by 9.50am the brand announced the stock was completely sold out, with the website crashing as the result of too much traffic. Jenner commented via her Twitter: "Sold out! I'm so happy but so sad at the same time lol. But don't worry I'm releasing more before Christmas and after that and after that. And you guys are so amazing I might just have to do a free giveaway this week. YAY I LOVE U GUYS."
