After departing the silver screen several years ago, Lauren Conrad has carved out a successful career penning books and and establishing a beauty website - The Beauty Department - based on her coveted beauty looks.
Now, the former The Hills star has branched out further into the world of beauty with the release of a candle line. The soy-based creations will be stocked on Conrad’s growing global e-commerce site, The Little Market, which sells largely homewares.
The candle line features the Spring Collection and Garden Collection, with the former being floral-heavy with candles such as Cherry Blossom, Blooming Garden and Garden Rose incorporated. The latter favours the more masculine scents of basil, thyme and rosemary.
In keeping with The Little Market’s interest in promoting the work of struggling female artisans around the globe, the candles are hand-made in the US by Burmese refugees working together with Prosperity Candle.
