She first came on the scene back in 2008 as the New York socialite turned ELLE magazine staffer on reality TV show, The City - Olivia Palermo was (and still is) the definition of chic.
She soon became a style icon and her pulled together look, and not to mention perfectly bouncy blow out, has been emulated ever since.
It's that it girl factor that has gained Palermo 6.4 million followers on Instagram, countless brand collaborations, and the title of founder and CCO of the Olivia Palermo Group.
But it's the latter that has us excited, as the company is expanding with the official announcement of Olivia Palermo Beauty - 'a curated beauty wardrobe for everyone'.
In a statement shared with WWD, Palermo wrote that her beauty line follows her “ethos on fashion.”
“I wanted to create a beauty line that follows my own ethos on fashion - something that fits my mood, but also provides a timeless look that everyone can rely on in a pinch,” said Palermo.
“It’s a collection that mirrors my beauty routine, focused on elevating the essentials. My approach is trying to find innovative solutions that work not just for me, but for the many, diverse women (and men) that make up our global community.”
“We all have different skin types at all ages. Let’s create heirloom products for everyone,” she said.
The line has been over two years in the making and will launch with four products: an illuminating serum, a mattifying mist, a matte lipstick in three shades, and two eye shadow palettes.
The range is cruelty-free and formulated without parabens, sulfates, phthalates, mineral oil and talc.
