La Roche-Posay's new initiative tackling mental health

The number one dermocosmetic brand worldwide, La Roche-Posay, has announced its latest initiative, helping to support frontline healthcare workers.

The brand's solidarity project, will be facilitating a free, interactive live-streamed discussion, on the importance of maintaining mental health and wellbeing during this challenging period.

Held this Wednesday July 22, the webinar will be hosted by revered media personality, Deborah Hutton, and will be an expression of gratitude to all of our valued frontline healthcare workers, for their courage and dedication to ensuring ongoing health and safety amongst the wider community.

The informative presentation will feature Dr Tim Sharp (aka Dr Happy), founder of The Happiness Institute, talking about building resilience to maintain happiness throughout difficult times, and Beyond Blue volunteer speaker and cardiologist, Dr Geoff Toogood, talking about mental wellbeing and the support services available during the pandemic and beyond.

La Roche-Posay has a long history of working closely with the medical and pharmacy professions, and acknowledges the incredible support provided to Australians. The brand will be distributing 7,000+ care packs housing a curated selection of products, and 20,000+ units of an exclusively produced Purifying Hand Gel Sanitiser, to healthcare workers across the nation.

“It’s a new world, and the demand for healthcare workers has increased considerably," said L’Oréal Australia Active Cosmetics Division general manager, Yann Kerherve. "These dedicated frontline professionals are working tirelessly, and often in high-risk scenarios, to keep all Australians safe during this challenging period."

"La Roche-Posay has always partnered with dermatologists and healthcare professionals, to improve the ‘quality of life’ of their patients. As their journey continues, we must acknowledge their valued contribution, and continue to support them in every way possible, to improve their ‘quality of life’ and ensure absolute wellbeing.”
