Google has published its top 10 trending beauty queries for the year, with lashes featuring heavily in 2018.
In Google’s 2018 Year in Search report, the top three beauty-related queries centred on eyelashes, with the most Googled question being “How to apply magnetic lashes”.
The magnetic lash trend has been gaining momentum in the past two years, according to Refinery29. The innovative lash format boasts easy application and removal, eradicating the need to use any messy glue.
“What is a lash-lift?” was the second most popular question, while “How to remove individual eyelashes” came in third.
The remaining queries show consumers want to know what concealer to use, how to apply aloe vera and even how to glue down eyebrows.
