Prevention Australia has announced the appointment of Cecily-Anna Bennett as social media manager, adding to her existing role as Prevention’s beauty editor which she has held for the past nine years.
Bennett has been part of the Prevention team since 2011, with her expanded role reflecting her deep understanding of the brand and its audience.
A trusted voice in beauty and wellbeing, Bennett brings a combination of editorial experience, audience insight and cultural awareness to the position. Her appointment signals a strategic shift for Prevention Australia, as the brand sharpens its focus on meaningful, community-driven content for women aged 35 and over.
"Prevention’s audience is informed, engaged and increasingly open about conversations that were once considered taboo, particularly around perimenopause, menopause, mental health and ageing," said Bennett.
"There’s a real opportunity to meet women where they are, with content that is honest, intelligent and genuinely useful."

Her appointment comes at a time of significant cultural shift, as conversations around ageing and women’s health continue to evolve.
Bennett sees social media as a powerful tool not just for distribution, but for connection.
"At its core, this is about building a community," she shared. "A space where women feel seen, supported and inspired, not overwhelmed."
With a background spanning both editorial and commercial content, Bennett is uniquely positioned to bridge storytelling with brand alignment, unlocking new opportunities for partnerships that resonate with Prevention’s audience.
