For the first time in 14 years, Sass & Bide will be presenting at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia.
Following their last show at MBFWA in 2003 the label has since been presenting at the likes of London and New York Fashion Weeks; however, they will be presenting their resort 2018 collection in Sydney in May.
Sass & Bide head designer Sophia Berman spoke to Vogue about what prompted their return to Aussie shores: “MBFWA is now a global destination of international standard for resort, which at Sass & Bide is one of our favourite seasons, so it feels right to show here now and support Australian fashion.
We now have over 45 locations in Australia and are at essence an Australian brand, based in Sydney, with an international outlook.”
