The Queen of beauty, Charlotte Tilbury, has taken to Instagram to announce an exciting first-ever for the brand – introducing the new Fragrance Collection of Emotions.
The launch, which sees not one, not two but six new perfumes announced, is powered by emotion-boosting molecules, backed by neuroscience and 40 years of research.
Charlotte wants to know how do you want to feel today? What mood are you looking to enhance? Happiness or calmness? The range has a scent for every mood.
"Since I was 13, I have been fascinated by the magical ability of fragrance to unlock memories and emotions," said Tilbury.
"A fragrance can feel as though it's transport you to another world full of memories, fantasies and dreams, it can create a magical aura around you. It has endless invisible powers."
The perfumes were created in collaboration with IFF perfumers Anne Flipo, Dominique Ropion and Juliete Karagueuzoglou, as well as Celine Manetta, a neuroscientist, psychologist and senior consumer science manager at IFF, who assisted the brand in accurately capturing the emotions tied to each perfume.
"Since the very beginning, Charlotte wanted to have a real impact on emotions, she wanted to go further than aromatherapy," shared Manetta.
"And at IFF, we have been studying the invisible power of ingredients on the brain for more than 40 years and we are able, thanks to neurosciences, to prove it scientifically."
The new generation of revolutionary fragrances include:
Love Frequency – top notes of pink pepper; heart notes of saffron, rose ultimate extract and rose essential; and base notes of musk, cashmere wood, ambery woods and patchouli heart.
Joyphoria – top notes of petitgrain oil, coconut water accord and neroli oil; heart notes of tuberose absolute, jasmin sambac and ylang ylang; and base notes of vanilla bean extract, cashmere wood and musks.
Magic Energy – top notes of bergamot oil and myrtle oil; heart notes of Cypress ultimate, jasmine sambac and seaweed absolute; and base notes of cashmere wood, Palo Santo accord, ambergris accord and olibanum resinoid.
Calm Bliss – top notes of bergamot oil, neroli oil, lavandin oil; heart notes of orange flower absolute and serene watery accord; and base notes of tonka bean accord, white musks and orris.
Cosmic Power – top notes of black pepper oil, cinnamon bark oil, bergamot oil and woody elemi oil; heart notes of rose ultimate and frankincense accord; and base notes of amber accord, vanilla bean extract and powdery musks.
More Sex – top notes of black pepper oil and juniper berry oil; heart notes of sexual accord (ambroxan, sexual musk, aldron) and leather accord; and base notes of velvety musk, ambery wood, sandalwood and oil Caledonia.
"These fragrances are like portals to emotions and other worlds, so you will feel however you want to feel, and be whoever you want to be, empowering you through the magic of scent," said Tilbury.
The Fragrance Collection of Emotions will be available exclusively from the Charlotte Tilbury app from April 30th and then from charlottetilbury.com from May 2nd. The collection will launch in MECCA from August.
The fragrances will retail for $265 / 100mL, $40 / 10mL and a gift set for $51.00 / 6 x 1.5mL.
