Tom Ford joins Fragrance Foundation Hall of Fame

It has been announced that Tom Ford will be inducted into The Fragrance Foundation’s Hall of Fame, joining a long list of fashion veterans such as Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan and Carolina Herrera.

“Scent, in its many iterations, is something that I have always had a strong passion for, and to be recognised for my work in this industry by the prestigious Fragrance Foundation, is a true honour,” Ford said in a statement.

Tom Ford Beauty launched in 2006 with its first scent, Black Orchid, which gained worldwide popularity and won a number of Fragrance Foundation Awards.

The Fragrance Foundation Awards will take place on June 5 in New York, with International Flavors & Fragrances Inc master perfumer, Dominique Ropion, to be recognised for the Lifetime Achievement Perfumer Award.
