An opportunity exists for a sales driven digital marketing manager at iconic Australian beauty brand, . This is an integral and senior role within the company and requires a digital savvy, proactive, action-orientated and analytical person.
Your main role is to increase website traffic, conversion and sales through the use of innovative digital strategies. Primary areas of focus will be content creation, online promotions, SEO, conversion optimisation, 3rd party and affiliate partnerships, reporting and analysis.
You will manage the digital (online) elements of the marketing mix as well as integrate with offline (print, PR, retail) and work with other departments (logistics, product development, retail) to ensure the implementation of the marketing plan is co-ordinated, aligned and consistent.
You will also need to drive awareness of modelcocosmetics.com as a key retail channel by developing online and offline strategies, campaigns and content. You are responsible for supporting the launch of new products, while pushing existing products, through social media, digital advertising and partnerships with ambassadors and contributors.
The role includes but is not limited to:
- Develop innovative concepts and online marketing strategies and briefs. Co-ordinate the design, development and production efforts.
- Develop a dedicated digital and promotional marketing calendar and implement programs.
- Initiate strategy for social media team to drive sales, enhance image and build brand awareness.
- Establish and keep track of ROI on all digital marketing initiatives to measure success of campaigns and strategies and contribute to departmental competitive analysis to keep abreast of the market trends.
- Analyse and issue monthly ecommerce sales reports to all relevant stakeholders and management teams.
- Evaluate promotional opportunities and monitor allocation of samples/gift sets/GWPs on a timely basis.
In this role, you will manage both the transactional and editorial elements of modelcocosmetics.com. This includes writing and editing beauty content in line with the brand’s overall strategy, managing the editorial calendar, briefing design and initiating partnerships with contributors, make-up artists and industry experts.
- Manage the transactional and editorial elements of modelcocosmetics.com including copywriting, editing and uploading.
- Manage third party affiliates, agencies and freelancers to optimise site sales and usability.
- Manage and maintain digital and e-commerce budgets and sales KPIs.
Ideally, you will have:
- Experience in implementing digital marketing initiatives that deliver ROI
- Experience within retail e-commerce
- Experience in SEO and Google Analytics
- Experience working with Paid Search
- Experience working with Wordpress or similar
- Back end Magento experience is preferred
- Significant marketing experience, specifically in e-commerce
- Must be digitally savvy
- Have a passion for excelling in the digital arena
- Highly organised, analytical and creative
- Strong user understanding and demonstrated experience in web content, usability, architecture, technology and digital to deliver best user experience
- Beauty industry, retail or FMCG experience preferred
- Must have ability to understand the marketplace including trends and consumer online shopping behaviours
- Leadership/team management skills
- Execution of digital marketing and promotional calendar and achievement of e-commerce sales and KPI objectives.
You must be able to work autonomously as well as possess strong team spirit and have a bright and positive attitude. You will have great connections, the ability to forecast trends and developments as well as being innovative and sales-driven.
