Marketing co-ordinator (NZ) - Estée Lauder NZ

We are seeking applications for a marketing co-ordinator extraordinaire to support the Estée Lauder Head Office team. This position requires an enthusiastic and well organised individual who is proactive and highly driven. The successful candidate will possess creative ability plus have an affinity with numbers. They will be responsible for creating POS material and all marketing communications for campaigns, as well as ensuring all marketing costs are captured in the monthly budget. They will be someone who has great people skills and above all can manage their time to handle the multiple demands, shifting priorities and rapid change that occurs on a daily basis in this role. We need someone who prides themselves on their attention to detail, follow up and initiative whilst being a strong team player.

Responsibilities include:

  • Providing marketing administrative support to the Estée Lauder marketing manager.
  • Compilation and preparation of all collateral and promotional material including posters, direct mail, national and co-op advertising.
  • Updating marketing, advertising and promotional budgets.
  • Assisting the marketing manager with the preparation of presentations and documents for strategy meetings, international visitors, sales conferences and the retail sales team.
  • Maintaining strong relations with the sales team, retailers, creative services team, warehouse staff and store consultants.
  • Assisting the marketing manager in preparation of launch forecasts.

To be successful in the role you will need to have:

  • An understanding of relevant marketing principals and campaign management.
  • Demonstrate strong project management skills.
  • Have sound data analysis skills.
  • Be customer focused with a results orientated approach.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate.

This is a demanding role in a fast-paced industry. The successful candidate will have at least three years work history in a related role, with an advanced level of computer skills (word, excel and powerpoint) and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Previous exposure to SAP would be an advantage. A tertiary qualification with a marketing/communication is a must. You will also have an understanding and exposure to the digital and social media landscape.
