La Biosthetique Salon Partners Seminar

La Biosthetique held their Salon Partners Seminar this week at the Winery in Surry Hills with a panel of experts including Thomas Fuchs, Christopher Esber and Aimee McCallum. The special guests shared their valuable insights on how to build your business:

Thomas Fuchs from Fuchs Hair Team in Switzerland touched on the main successes of his business. When guests questioned him about sales and the downfall of the economy Thomas’s main point was to never ever discount”/ You have to value and believe in your product and not price it any less,” he says.

He also explained the tier of salons and how the pricing scheme worked through the Top Stylist down to the Apprentices.

Christopher Esber, who partnered with La Biosthetique to showcase his collection at this year’s Rosemount Australian Fashion Week, talked fashion and trends and the importance of hair and makeup in the fashion world. At the Christopher Esber show hair was blow dryed straight and pulled into a low pony.

Kirsty Conias from La Biosthetique provided the audience with some insight into the new trends available for La Biosthetique. Inspired by Paris, the trends featured styles that see the strength in women”.

Lastly, Visual Merchandising specialist Aimee McCallum shared her tips for the wealth visual merchandising can provide to any business. From window displays to store displays Aimee described visual merchandising as the eyes of your business”.

People need to be pulled and drawn in to take a look at something closer, just this step could help take the interest in many clients you might not have gained otherwise,” she said. Even if they don’t buy something they want to come back and take another look to see what you have done next.”

Another tip from Aimee was to always keep your shop looking fresh” even if the changes are only small. Always remember less is more” - visual changes should not be a burden they should be fun”.
