Editorial movements at Women’s Health

Women’s Health has experienced a slew of changes this year within its editorial team, including the departure of editor Felicity Harley. Now the magazine has confirmed further movement, with the arrival of former features editor Alice Ellis into the position of deputy editor.

Ellis will be replacing Rachelle Mackintosh, who has moved to the position of acting lifestyle director at New Idea. Alongside her new role as deputy, Ellis will be looking after all fitness, sports and athletic content.

Says Ellis of her new position: “I'm really excited about my new role. Without so many story deadlines taking up the bulk of my schedule I'll have more time to work with our editor to further develop our fitness and WinS (Women in Sport) content, and also to help other departments make it come to life through things like activations and partnerships – all at a time when the health and fitness spaces, and recognition of sportswomen, are really taking off.”
