Industry heavyweights have revealed the shortlist of magazine covers in the running for this year’s Magazine Cover Awards. The featured covers include Jess Hart simmering on the front of Harper’s BAZAAR, Kylie Minogue flirting with the Stenmark twins on GQ Australia, and a pregnant Megan Gale glowing on the cover of marie claire.
Judges selected a shortlist of five covers per category, with the judging panel consisting of Magazine Publishers of Australia executive director Mary Ann Azer, iSUBSCRIBE CEO and founder Andrew Burge, Ita Buttrose, media consultant Andrew Cowell, newsXpress CEO Mark Fletcher, Deborah Hutton, Mediaweek editor James Manning, media consultant Phil Scott, and author Sarah Wilson.
The general public now has five weeks to vote for their favourite covers at www.themaggies.com.au.
The winner of the coveted Magazine Cover of the Year Award as well as the individual category stars will be announced on October 15 at The Maggies Magazine Cover of the Year Awards Night in Sydney.
