Hair style: "An understanding was taken firstly of the collection itself, resort wear as a really understated pool side glamour. We wanted to pull the hair up and create a really nice bold shape, working with the models natural texture. Not every girl has to be the same, and we were really quite relaxed in our approach to the end result which was the creation of fun, relaxed pool side glamour. We are using the Alter Ego Italy range, the Hasty Too range. To begin we are using a nice strong mousse to prep the hair, and for some of the girls we are doing what we call a 'double mousse', in which we prep the hair twice with mousse to create a stronger foundation. It is a very visual and organic approach as we are working with our hands rather than brushes and tools. We are scraping the hair up with our fingers to the top of the head near the crown, and using elastic to secure that away, and then very simply folding the hair back on itself, so we create that boldness on top. Using the remainder of the elastic we are then tying that off, creating a bold tail effect," says Craig Smith.

Make-up: Alfie Sadsad for

Make-up style: "The inspiration is all about effortless beauty. We are going for the bronzed look for Spring / Summer 2014, and it is all about creating a bronzy hue around the eye area. We are adding a lot of sheen and natural elements to the face to make it look effortless. We are using one of our hero products, the Long-Wear Cream Shadow Stick because in twelve hours it doesn't crease, and then we are adding one of our award winning Shimmer Bricks on top, that we use on the eyes and cheek area in bronze tones. The best way to apply it is by using a large brush and then just layering it on top of the Cream Shadow, stretching it out. When you are doing it at home, you just select one or two colours and then brush it through the lid to give that washed effect around the eye area," says Alfie Sadsad.

"Talulah is a beautiful bright blue. The pigment is so strong, it is a sky blue colour that runs through all the patterns she has in the collection. It is part of our new range, and the colour is summery and fresh. It is a flat, strong shade that dries to a matte because there is so much pigment in it, so it only needs one top coat," says Ali Magliveras.
