The best lippies your money can buy

Happy National Lipstick Day, folks! We may be sitting at home, but let's don our favourite lippy and celebrate in style.

Lips was one of the hardest-hit in the prestige beauty space last year, but as BD reported in June, new data suggests it’s headed for a rebound.

Data from Trendalytics shows triple-digit search volume growth in several searches around lip cosmetics: Long-wear lipstick grew 1,135 per cent year-over-year, while shimmer lip gloss, plum lipstick and plumping lip gloss grew 889 per cent, 300 per cent and 259 per cent, respectively.

So, let's get behind the category, and champion one of our favourite makeup items, the ever-versatile, lipstick.

Revlon

The Revlon Super Lustrous™ The Luscious Mattes is a true velvet matte lipstick that has a lightweight feel on the lips. Its creamy formula is infused with a botanical complex featuring agave, moringa oil and cupuacu butter for smooth application that leaves lips feeling soft.
