Inspiration: "The main inspiration for the collection came from the Rolling Stones album Exile on Main Street, and the documentary Stones in Exile. The album has a mix of Rock n' Roll, Blues, Country and Soul; I really drew from all of these genres when thinking about the collection and what I wanted to design," says Little Joe Woman designer Gail Elliot.

Hair style: "What we're doing for Little Joe, instead of it being Gail's usual glamazon type of thing, we've just given it a bit more attitude. We've done a double moussing technique which gives us a dryer texture and then we've used our Cloud 9's just to give us a bend. We've just randomly put that through the hair so it's a mixture of straight and bend and then we've broken it up. It's totally wearable, it's got a really cool, undone dry texture which is a big look that we're seeing this season," says Brad Ngata.
Make-up: Michael Brown for Lancome Paris
Make-up style: "The inspiration for Little Joe Woman this year is all about an edgy, raw look which is quite different for Little Joe because their fabrics and garments are so floaty and feminine. Last year we captured that, but with the make-up and hair this year it's a little bit free. The smokey eye that we're doing is not a pretty smokey eye, it's black kohl inside, it comes quite low on the bottom part of the eye, so it gives a bit more of a rock kind of image, a bit more edgy. The skin is still very contoured, highly bronzed - which is a typical Gail Elliot look. We love the bronze tone on the cheek, beautiful illuminator with the Eclat Miracle highlighter. We're doing a nude lip, so it's all about the eye for the face, but where the colour comes in is with the nails. We're using a deep lavender nail polish, so when the girls walk in, they should get a glimpse of the purple. It's quite a strong look but beautiful skin," says Michael Brown.
