Clinique’s new anti-ageing ingredient

The new year will see launch the Repairwear Uplifting Firming Cream containing brown algae to help in the fight against anti-ageing, according to Cosmetics Design.

The brown algae, also known as Laminaria Digitata”, has been found to provide increased energy to cells – preventing the slow down of the cell repair and rejuvenation process caused by ageing. It also aids the skin’s natural collagen production.

Mitostime, derived from brown algae is a new multi-tasking ingredient to beauty industry products,” says Clinique executive director of Skin Physiology and Pharmacology Dr Tom Mammone. It is one of the newest and most powerful ways to increase cellular energy and it is because of our long-time partnerships with the scientific and bio-tech communities that we first learned about this ingredient.”

Clinique’s Repairwear Uplifting Firming Cream featuring Mitostime will be available in March next year.
