After a brave and long battle with cancer, beauty journalist Kate Mahon passed away peacefully this morning surrounded by her family.
Mahon was a highly-respected journalist who was passionate about her role as a beauty director for titles including SHE and Australian Women's Weekly.
Mahon developed many close friendships through her work and will be fondly remembered by media and the beauty industry for her warm and professional approach to both industries.
