L’Oréal New Zealand appoints new country manager

Today, L’Oreal New Zealand announced Aurelie de Cremiers as the Country Manager for New Zealand, a role that will see her lead the Consumer Products business and New Zealand Management Committee.

Rodrigo Pizarro, Managing Director of L’Oréal Australia and New Zealand says de Cremiers replaces outgoing country manager Martin Smith and takes over a business in excellent health.

“Aurelie’s appointment is an exciting development which will further drive our passion to meet the diverse beauty needs of even more New Zealanders.”

de Cremiers joined the L’Oréal Group in France in 2002, working in a variety of product and marketing roles including Consumer Insights and in a centralised global marketing role for Garnier.

In 2012, de Cremiers moved to L’Oréal Australia as a Group Product Manager and then Marketing Manager for Maybelline & Essie. Subsequently, she was promoted to Consumer Products Marketing Director. Under her leadership, de Cremiers took Maybelline New York, to the top make-up brand in Australia, as well as leading L’Oréal Paris Skin Expert skincare and L’Oréal Paris hair colour to the number one positions in the Australian beauty market.

During her time in Australia, de Cremiers combined her market research background with a sharp intuition for products and brands, strong strategic thinking and motivating leadership to drive outstanding results whilst adapting and responding to the needs of the modern digitally native consumer.

“I’m honoured to take on the leadership role in New Zealand.  There has been outstanding work done to entrench L’Oréal as the beauty range of choice for New Zealanders. I’m excited to build on this work and make a positive and impactful difference to people’s lives through our people and brands as we look to share beauty with all,” says de Cremiers.
